Jarrod started managing assets for high net worth private client investors in 1995. Before establishing Broadbent Financial in 2009, Jarrod was Executive Director and Team Leader at UBS Wealth Management Australia where he was employed from 2000 through to 2009. Prior to that Jarrod spent 2 years with Merrill Lynch. Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree and a Bachelor of Law degree from Monash University in Melbourne. Jarrod is RG146 compliant in managed investments, securities, futures markets and superannuation and is an Accredited Derivatives Advisor.

Jon has worked in a variety of roles in Financial Markets since 2001. Jon commenced his career with JP Morgan Sydney in the Debt Capital Markets team before transferring to the FX option trading desk in 2003. In 2006 Jon moved to London where he ran the Precious Metal vanilla and exotic option portfolios at Standard Chartered until he returned home to Melbourne in 2015. Jon holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours in Finance from the University of Melbourne. Jon is RG146 accredited in Derivatives, Securities, Managed Investments, Superannuation, Margin Lending, Cash and Deposit Taking.

Luke Pavone has extensive experience in wealth management and financial planning. A Private Wealth Advisor with Shaw and Partners from 2014 through 2018 and with Austock Securities prior, Luke has advised on a wide range of areas, including equity trading, portfolio and risk management, derivatives, bonds and fixed interest.Luke holds a Bachelor of Business and Master of Financial Planning. He is RG146 accredited in derivatives and is ASIC accredited in margin lending and geared investments.

Geraldine is an experienced Investment Advisor with a financial markets career spanning money market, funds management, superannuation and equities. Since 1995, Gerry has been a Senior Investment Advisor at Shaw and Partners and Lands Kirwan Tong advising her private clients on investment and portfolio strategies. Gerry holds a Professional Diploma in Stockbroking and is RG146 compliant in equities, superannuation and margin lending.

Simone Kaissar - Office Manager:

Simone started work in the finance industry as an assistant research analyst and advisor’s assistant in 1999. She was at UBS for eight years and Merrill Lynch. Simone is also RG146 industry compliant. Simone has supported Jarrod since 2000 and is well aware of clients’ needs and demands.

Jo Broadbent – Advisors Assistant:

Jo is working on a permanent part-time basis as an Advisor’s Assistant. Jo has over 10 years experience in the Finance Industry as a Capital Markets Executive in the Corporate Treasury of AWB Limited (formerly Australian Wheat Board). Jo holds a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
